The Monument

At the center of this world is the great monument, built many thousands of years ago to honour the Kitsune - some say it was constructed by the world's first nine-tailed Kitsune. It is formed from a solid block of silver, scuplted with fire, and is so realistic that some passerbys truly believe there is a nine-tailed Kitsune sitting on the head of the block and flee. The inscription is unreadable, as the monument is protected by a ring of fire which has burned unto this day. None have managed to unwravel its energy source, and there are Kitsune who have dedicated their lives to the effort. The nine-tailed Kitsune usually hold any meetings here, and often lesser Kitsune will attend to watch.
