XXitsune is a fantasy roleplaying forum created by Pokeapache and Kitsu. The site mainly focuses on the life of Kitsunes, a mythical multi-tailed "fox" creature. With intricate details and information provided by Kitsu about each of the five 'coats' of Kitsune(among other details), besides the roleplaying aspect of the site it is a handy tool to learn a lot more about Kitsune.*
XXitsune is a very free-roaming, create your own story roleplaying forum. Although it is set in a very specific world, the possibilities are endless. Although we don't have a site-wide plots (and we very well might never have one) we're open to any suggestions or ideas.
We have very friendly staff(I realize that most forums say this, but I mean it! You can talk to us about anything, even in-real life problems. We won't judge, promise.) and plenty of original, crazy, and dangerous (for the characters) ideas... It's safe to assume that you won't be bored here unless you're boring.
We accept all and every kind of roleplayer, from (nearly, people need to be able to understand you) illiterate to literate (and novel-writers for every single post..yes, they exist) as long as you're willing to keep trying to improve your skills as a writer. We don't have limits or restrictions, but if you want to get better, feel free to set them yourself and roleplay with people who are better roleplayers than you.
The only thing we won't accept, here at XXitsune, are Power-playing, God-modding, Mary-Sue creating jerks who refuse to understand that what they're doing isn't fun for the rest of us. So come on in, grab a seat, make yourself at home! We'll see you there.
*Please note that the information we give may not match everyone's exact "idea" of Kitsune, there ARE probably quite a few discrepancies to "original" myths and whatnot, but this is fantasy. Please follow what we say and take it as fact here.
