FULL FORM - READ FIRST:
Full Name: (Put here the full name of your character, though please avoid anything too long, elaborate or ridiculous unless it's for a good reason. Also, please nothing childish or immature. Any Kitsune named 'Poopy' are not going to be allowed... Seriously.)
Nicknames: (These can be any nicknames the character has, though the first one should be their most-used one. If they don't have any, then feel free to leave this blank.)
Gender: (... Whether your character is male, female or neutered. No, seriously.)
Home: (Especially if you have a red Kitsune character, they may not live anywhere in particular, but there should at least have one area which they regualarly hang around in. You can either give a vague name (EG the mountains) or describe their precise home in detail - either is fun, though if they live in a particular place it may be advised to put a bit more detail into describing it)
Age: (Should correlate roughly to the number of tails - about 100 years between each tail, except the ninth tail might come anywhere between the age 900-1000)
Number of tails: (Self explanitory, but please don't flood this universe with nine-tailed Kitsune. Try to maintain a healthy balance - sometimes it's funner to work with a weaker character! Note that in most circumstances a Kitsune would not be able to lose a tail and survive, but there are exceptions and if it's a reasonable, well-explained and thought out one and we don't end up with every Kitsune having some tails chopped off we'll allow it.)
Colour classification: (The colour your Kitsune would be classified as. For example, if you have a red Kitsune with a black cross across its back, it would be classed as red, so put that here. If it could be ambiguous, then feel free to put it as either or both: While it helps to give a general idea of the character, it doesn't matter hugely. However, please don't put them between more than two colour categories, or classify them as none: We do not get neon green Kitsune in this world.)
Magic Speciality: (... Please be sensible with this one. If your character is a two-tail, they are not going to be specialised in a very difficult and complicated magic, or in about twenty different kinds. Also take into account the Kitsune colour, since different colour kinds TEND to be skilled in different types of magic, but this doesn't always apply since it is more down to social reasons than biological reasons.)
Appearance: (This is important to treat carefully. Take into account that up till about three tails, a Kitsune will look relatively plain, like a fox with multiple tails, since they will not have learned to shape-shift. But past three tails, a Kitsune can choose to alter their form at will - However, there are a few limits which nearly all Kitsune stick to and which should not be bent at all if possible unless for very good reasons. They tend to retain their fur colour, so keeping themselves in the same colour classification, and once they have settled on a suitable Kitsune form (which usually takes only a few years) they will stay with it. For logical reasons they don't tend to twist their bodies into unusual shapes, although a Kitsune with a twisted paw might fix it, and tend to keep scars and bodily harm for reasons of acknowledgement. They keep to normal sizes, though may adjust to make themselves unusually large or unusually small, and though their eyes can often vary from the standard fox-colour eyes they are usually kept within the realms of sensibility. In short, feel free to play with their appearances, and they do tend to choose more exotic and vibrant looks than foxes, but don't go completely wild. Feel free to include an image reference, but only one which you have made or commisioned, not an image claimed off the internet and certainly not one you have no permission to use. A reference is acceptable in place of text but only if it is detailed and describes the Kitsune accurately.)
Humanform: (This can vary a lot more than the Kitsune form, but they do tend to take plausible human shapes even if they put on various additional details. So no unicorn horns or random wings or anything like that - though feel free to use unusual hair colours and eye colours here. Also note that in general it's easier to have a small humanform than a tall humanform, and also that this will only apply to three-tails and above.)
Personality: (Again, take the colour of the Kitsune into account. This is a starting personality, but interestingly as they pass through different tails Kitsune will develop their personality further and further, and may change drastically. Any changes which occur over time, please edit your form to account for, but don't delete the initial personality for the sake of comparison. Also please do your reading on Kitsune culture and personality, and try not to make your Kitsune TOO off-the-wall from that - or if you do, try to make it your only Kitsune which does so. Go in-depth here, please - I know we will see the personality coming out more from roleplaying than from the form, but a decent overview will give us a good idea as to whether or not your character is acceptable. If it helps, you can feel free to write this as a roleplay sample, so long as said sample covers every important aspect of their personality including their reactions when happy, sad, afraid or normal. If you can fit all of those realistically into one post, then feel free to do so.)
History: (Cover all the life your character has led. Since they will have lived hundreds of years you don't need to describe every little thing, but cover the important things which have shaped what they are now, or which may crop up in the future, or simple matters of curiosity which you would like to include.)
Living relatives: (These will probably all be Kitsune. Note that it is perfectly possible that none of them are alive, if all their family were foxes, but it is extremely unlikely that any of their siblings are alive - if any, no more than one. This can also cover any 'adoptive' relatives, though - for example, a Kitsune might be mentored by an older Kitsune and they begin to call one another siblings. Please cover their names (if any), relation, age, tail number and if they exist as a character on the forums, a link to their profile, along with anything else you deem necessary.)
Deceased relatives: (These will most likely be siblings, and possibly parents if both were foxes. There may also be Kitsune in among the mix, though - Kitsune are not immortal, naturally. Please cover their names (if any), relation, age, tail number and cause of death, along with anything else you deem necessary.)
Other: (Anything else important goes here. Though if it's something which should be on the form, then drop Kitsu a personal message and she'll edit the form to include it.)
