"Sure!" He grinned at her and looked back at his father. His tails were wagging like crazy. His father chuckled and swept his tails, all nine of them, neatly over his paws. "Leaving so soon son? Then we should spend the time we have together hm?"
"Yes!" He yelled excitedly. "Sully you come too?" He grinned at her. She probably has never seen him this happy.
"We can work on your magic. I doubt you have been training at all. Your mother is too busy with the little ones to keep an eye on you while I'm gone. So, have you been training?" Benito looked at his paws and drew some pictures on the ground with his tails nervously. "I see you have been working on your tail strength but anything else?"
"No Father..." He mumbled.
"Benito, a real man doesn't mumble." They chuckled together. "Not that we are men or anything!" He smiled at his son who smiled back.

"Ooh! Will you teach me something, Mr. Benito's Father?" Sully yipped, circling him with her tails high, tips twitching with excitement. "I always love learning new magic."
She flopped to the ground and rolled on her back. "You should teach us both something! Please, please?"

"I guess I could. No harm in it. Anything you really really want to learn Sully? I'll be happy to if I am able to." Benito smiled at him and then her. "Father knows almost every magic. Mostly earth like me!"

"Teach me..." Sully got very dramatic at this point, reaching up from on her back, to stare down her muzzle at Benito's father, her nose almost reaching the bottom of his chin. "... Eeeeverything!" And then she broke into a giggle, and flopped back.
"No, really, I don't care! Just teach me! Please? I'll learn anything!" She got to her paws, wriggling with excitement.

"Well it helps if I know what you do know already Sully." Such a silly little pup she was. Cute too. Perfect for his son, he thought to himself. "Then I'll teach you one thing." He grinned softly.

"I know lots of little stuff. Light and sound, mostly. And some cold magicks, and wind... Uhhh but yeah! That's what I know mostly. Just a bunch of little fun tricks, nothing too serious. Enough to keep me alive!" She giggled for a bit, swishing her tails back and forth.
"So what will you teach me?"

"Well another trick to help you stay alive would to be able to polymorph into a plant. Any plant nearby. Even a giant tree." Benito got excited now. He could be a plant too! Not just other animals! "The best part is that unlike untrained polymorph.." He looked at his son who looked away. "You wont be the same color as your fur. How does that sound Sully?"

"That sounds amazing... What's it like being a plant, anyway?" She wondered aloud, her tail tips twitching. She could already imagine having her tails being roots, her ears being gentle leaves... She giggled with the thought. Something so different than what she was used to being! It would be an amazing experience, that was for sure.

"Well it is very magical experience. You can feel the earth around you...like a giant hug really. You can feel where everything around you is. Feel every breath, hear every sound, you feel like you are just awakened to the world. Completely magical." His father sighed peacefully as though he was feeling that experience right then and there.
"I would be happy to show you. It works everywhere and theres no waiting. You are just suddenly any plant you can think of. I suggest small plants. Any questions before we begin?"

Her single visible eye, sparkled like a golden coin as her new mentor, best friend-- and crush--'s father spoke. She shook her head furiously, excited to be told how to turn into a plant. Especially since he described it as such an amazing experience...
It was going to be... so. COOL.

It actually took Benito's Father a few days to teach them how to become plants and understand their surroundings. It was a rare and difficult magic. "Hey! Hey Sully!" Benito ran over to her. "For you!" He turned into a red rose bush.
His Mother was having a "THAT'S SO CUTE!!!!" spazz attack far away. His Father merely chuckled and wrapped his tails around his mate. She calmed down immediately.

Sully laughed at Benito, a light gentle giggle, and pressed her nose into one of the rosebuds on the bush, taking a small sniff of the beautiful smell. She giggled more before changing into a very, very small plant in return.
It had a snow white bud, and didn't grow more an inch from the ground-- it was indeed tiny... It was one of the flowers she knew well from up in the mountains-- although it was rather uncomfortable in the warm climate for her to be that plant, so she changed back moments later, giggling all the more.

He changed back too. "That was a very cute plant. What was that? I've never seen one before." He grinned at her.

"It's a type of plant that grows on the mountaintops. It blends in with the snow and is very hard to find... but very hardy and durable. They grow every year where I used to grow up, and they're very useful actually.."
Sully's tails swished back and forth, and her gaze seemed to wander far off past Benito...

He smiled and relaxed. Laying down at her feet he closed his eyes and started to drift. The last few days have been amazing. He was glad Sully got to know his family better. The village was starting to grow on her too. She justs fits in so perfectly.
