"I don't mind the long way.." She walked up beside him and snuggled against his fur. ".. As long as we'll be safe." She pressed her muzzle against his, and tangled her tails in his. She felt like she could do anything with him by her side-- but she knew that was just her crushfeelings, dragging her into a silly world where emotions got the better of your reality.

He snuggled back, curling their tails tighter together. "I'll protect you no matter what Sully. I promise~" He grinned at her as they turned around and walked down the long way.

She followed him the long way, sticking close to him like a small child might. It was rather peaceful, and for a moment she realized she was leaving the forest.
"I'm going to miss your family," she commented fondly.

"Me too, but we'll see them again. I'm just hoping I get to meet this brother of yours. I hope he likes me...." He looked down at the ground nervously. Would it be over for them if he didn't... No. Sully inst like that. He just needed to focus on being himself and changing Sully's crush into love. He smiled to himself and sighed happily out loud.

"I haven't seen him in forever," Sully commented, her ears twitching. "I miss him a lot, but I'm sure he's doing a lot better than I ever have. He's really talented."
She shook her head. "Maybe we'll run into him, but I doubt it."

Another thing she loved about Benny- he wasn't nearly so embarassed anymore. The only baggage that she considered a problem was how he hated eating meat... Which wasn't really a problem for her, it just was a little snarl that tugged at her fur sometimes and bothered her. It made her sad that what she had done all her life was wrong in his eyes.
"My brother is a great kitsune though. If we do see him I have to get him to teach me something, it's what we always do. I'll show him how to be a plant, too! It's a thing. We're going to be the most powerful siblings someday, I bet. We don't stick together so we can learn separately."

Sully giggled and looked away when he gave her that look. "You're starting to look more and more like your father, Benito, did you know that?" She asked him, thoughtfully, although she didn't dare look back at him.

Benito blinked a few times. "REALLY!?" He was suddenly excited. "Thank you!" He grinned at her brightly. "That really means a lot to me. Thank you Sully." He was in such a good mood now. He felt like king of the world.

She pressed close into his fur and grinned widely. She was glad she could make him so happy and excited. It was really, really nice... she sighed, her only uncovered eye closed, and followed him blindly, her fur mingled with his.

Their adventure started out like a nice walk through a park on a first date. Too bad it didn't end with a first kiss. He morphed a tree into a hut and found some feathers, moss and dried leaves while she went hunting. He pushed them all in the hut and rolled around in it to flatten it a little. Didn't want it too flat and uncomfortable for Sully. He grew some flowers around and then an apple tree.
While he waited for Sully, he filled himself on apples and potatoes. It was a good meal, for the odd kitsune.

Sully came back after eating, her tails twitching when she saw the sight. With glee she bounded over to Benito and nearly bowled him over in excitement. "Wow! It's perfect Benny! It really is! This is amazing!"
... Well, it wasn't perfect. It wasn't home. But it was as perfect as it could be so far away from the mountains.

"Woah! Hello to you too Sully." He grinned at her. "I'm glad you like it. Tomorrow I can make a small cave if that would make you feel more comfortable." He would do anything to make her comfortable. God he was falling for her faster than he was suppose to. Hopefully he wouldn't scare her away.
