Sully giggled a bit more and pet him from head to tail. "Shhh, it's okay. Calm down." She pet him more and more and began to sing. The song was spoken in a different language- or maybe it was just nonsense words- but she sang him a sweet, soothing lullaby. It was a magical lullaby that would calm anyone who heard it.
Her mother used to sing it to her and her brothers to get them to stop being so hyper...

He relaxed. "Oh wow Sully that feels...that feels.." He yawned loudly. "Really, really good..." He curled up in her arms and listened. It didn't take log for him to fall fast alseep

She picked him up and put him inside the treenest, before changing into a kitsune and joining him, curled up tight against his warm body.
She didn't like the heat, but she did like warmth from other foxes and kitsunes...

His big fluffy tails wrapped around her as he cuddled close. Benito smiled in his sleep, dreaming about their adventures and their futures. He couldn't wait to become a man like his father.
As Benito slept, his fur began to shed. A lot of his fur began to shed actually...

Sully woke up with a sneeze in the morning. Her summer coat was almost completely out, she would have to brush it all off and get it out... But Benito's coat was also in clumps around them. She sneezed again as more fur got in her nose.
"Ugh... Ah! Ah'choo!" She sneezed more, before putting her paws over her nose. Bleh, bleh, bleh!

Benito jumped awake. His jumping to his feet made the fur go everywhere! "Is...Is this my fur!?" He quickly looked himself over. Making sure he wasn't bald and ugly. It was the opposite! His dull coat became bright red, no longer dull. His bright red ring around his eye was darker now too. He jumped around outside with joy! "I'm not the ugly child anymore! WOOHOO!"

Sully walked out of the treeden, sneezed again, and scoffed at Benito. "Stupid," she said in a tone that was actually really brattish.
But then her voice turned soft, sweet and gentle. "You've never been ugly."

"Oh come on Sully!" He ran over to her. "Compared to my brother, sisters, Mother and Father I don't even look like I belonged! Now look at me!" He circled her. "My coat is redder and more radiant than it ever was. I bet I'm almost as handsome as Father." He looked up it the sky and sighed happily. "If only he could see me now.."

Sully frowned and tilted her head. She shook her coat and flicked off her own dead fur, licked out the clumps. Her dirtier, darker fur was coming out in patches. It didn't bother her though, she would blend in easier now... and she could turn herself properly white. She didn't quite feel like it right then.
She liked the old Benny just fine. It wasn't that she was unhappy that he was more red, it was just... She didn't like how he was acting like everything had suddenly changed for him. It was just fur.

He helped her groom herself and then groomed himself. "I'm going to look for a river!" Benito quickly ran to a river and splashed right into it. His fur reflected light easily when it was wet. He couldn't have been more happy at that point. His confidence just shot up. Hopefully he wouldn't become a jerk who's obsessed with his look.  |

Sully followed after him, ears twitched down slightly. She wished she could be happy for Benito, but she just didn't get the point in his excitement. Sure, he looked more like his father-- who was very attractive-- now, but...
She sat by the water's edge after lapping up a drink, and watched him soak his new coat. If she did that she would probably freeze! She hated getting wet in her new thin coat.

"It's to help me blend in more when the snow melts, against the rocks..." She replied, sort of absently. Her tails, still white and light blue, curled around her tightly.
